San Salvo Marina, in the province of Chieti, is the last town on the Abruzzo coast on the border with Molise. It overlooks the final stretch of the famous and renowned Costa dei Trabocchi and boasts the primacy of hosting the first stretch in Abruzzo of the coastal bike path created with the project "Bike to Coast" which covers 131 km of Abruzzo coast, from San Salvo to Martinsicuro.

San Salvo Marina has a wide coastline where free beaches alternate with beaches equipped with bathing establishments and entertainment for all ages. The fine golden sand, at times dunes, makes the landscape very suggestive. The crystal clear sea, honored for years the Blue Flag of Legambiente, thanks to its shallow waters, is particularly suitable for families with small children who can swim in total safety.

San Salvo excursions and main attractions
One of the main attractions of San Salvo is undoubtedly the Dune Zone of
San Salvo Marina that extends over an area of more than 8 hectares and is a real protected natural oasis.
Inside this protected natural oasis is the Mediterranean Botanical Garden which extends over an area of about 5 hectares and is the only "specimen" found on the entire Adriatic Coast.
